ABOUT DAN: dannavarro.com
"While songs explore the same subjects, frustrations, emotions, trials & tribulations as many singer-songwriters, the highest buffed shine is in the Navarro showcase itself. How the songs are presented, showcased & realized." - Americana Highways
Dan Navarro’s long and eclectic resume includes “songwriter,” “recording artist,” “singer”, “voice actor”, “producer”, “road warrior,” and “arts advocate” in its extensive range of credits.

His former acoustic duo, Lowen & Navarro, released 13 albums from 1990-2008, enjoyed widespread Triple A radio airplay, and performed 1500 shows before Eric Lowen’s retirement in 2008 and passing from ALS in 2012. Dan set out solo in 2006.

His newest release is a duet single with 7-time Blues Foundation award winner Janiva Magness in a stirring version of Tom Prasada-Rao's classic “$20 Bill (for George Floyd)”, released August 23, 2024 to all major streaming and download services.

In March 2024, he debuted as a co-producer (with Grammy®-winner Jim Scott) on Jesse Lynn Madera's acclaimed album, “Speed of Sound”, including the touching co-written duet “Last Call”, now making waves at Americana, Folk, and Non-Com Triple A radio. The album cracked the FAI Folk Chart on March 5, 2024 at #32. Work has already begun on her follow-up, with Dan and Jim again at the helm of her new single, “Make It Out”.

Dan's 2022 album, “Horizon Line”, reunited Dan with producer Jim Scott, who cut six L&N albums. The album features performances from Chris Stills, Steve Postell (David Crosby, The Immediate Family), Doug Pettibone (Lucinda Williams), Brian Whelan (Dwight Yoakam), Jimmy Paxson (Lindsay Buckingham), Mai Leisz (David Crosby, Jackson Browne), Sebastian Steinberg (Soul Coughing), Taras Prodaniuk & Michael Jerome (The Richard Thompson Trio), Phil Parlapiano (John Prine), Peter Adams (Belinda Carlisle), Aubrey Richmond (Shooter Jennings), Carlos Murguia (Chicago, Three Dog Night), Leyla Hoyle and Derek Nakamoto. The album twice charted Top Ten at NACC Folk, and reviews have been Dan's finest yet.

In July 2021, he released a duo album with James Lee Stanley, "All Wood and Led", with acoustic "Laurel Canyon" re-imaginations of Led Zeppelin tunes, which saw extensive radio action at Americana stations nationwide.
As a songwriter, Dan has written or co-written heartfelt songs for Pat Benatar (the Grammy® nominated “We Belong”), The Bangles, Japanese girl group Wink (the #1 hit “One Night in Heaven”), Dutch superstar Marco Borsato (the Top Ten “Je Hoeft Niet Naar Huis Vannacht”), Dave Edmunds, The Temptations, Dionne Warwick, and Austin outlaw country legend Rusty Weir.

His songs have appeared in the films Deadpool 2, Pitch Perfect 2 and Talladega Nights, TV series This Is Us, Mare of Easttown, Halt and Catch Fire, American Idol, The Voice, American Dad and The Office and national commercials for Corona Beer, Sargento Cheese, Pepsi, Sheraton Hotels, Chase Bank and the United Way.

ABOUT MARC: marcdouglas.com
"Berardo takes you to a place within yourself to make changes you want to see in the world." Mary Sue Twohy, The Village, Sirius/XM Radio
“Marc Douglas Berardo always captivates the room from the first note to the final bow. His ability to have an audience crying one minute and laughing the next defines his artistry as a songwriter, but the real evidence of his skill as an entertainer is that people leave his shows with stacks of CDs, asking when he’ll be back.” Mile High Music Concerts, CO

Singer-songwriter, performer, and keen observer, Marc Douglas Berardo composes songs that mine the deep feelings and lessons gleaned from real-life characters and situations, along with an onstage presence that uses humor and deft storytelling to rally an audience and lead them into a deep and almost spiritual experience. It’s an adventure that brings to mind James Taylor, Jimmy Buffett, Guy Clark, or Steely Dan with a touch of Mark Twain or Hunter S. Thompson for good measure. An MDB show is a night of laughter and emotion that works to send an audience home with a renewed sense of possibility.

Berardo has performed at numerous nationally known songwriter festivals. Most recently, he headlined at the 2025 Tucson Folk Festival, performed at the 2025 Grand Mesa Songwriter Festival, and the 2024 Red Lodge Songwriter Festival. He has been nationally recognized for his music and performances at the Rocky Mountain Folks Fest Song contest, Telluride Troubadour Contest, and the Sisters Folk Festival. He won the 2013 Rams Head Onstage Rammie for Best Show of the Year. Berardo was a finalist at the Kerrville New Folk Song Contest and the winner of the Wildflower Art and Music Festival Song Contest. Marc has participated in several well-regarded song workshops and performance excursions in exotic locations, including Costa Rica, the Florida Keys, Bimini (Bahamas), and Belize.

Berardo's interview and live performance featured on Sirius/ XM Satellite Radio show, The Village, was voted one of the best of the year by listeners. Berardo was nominated as Best Americana Vocalist by readers of Motif Magazine in early 2017. In 2023, the Rhode Island Music Awards nominated him as Best Singer-Songwriter.

Berardo’s new full-length record, “The Beauty of This Now,” was released on May 31, 2024. It was recorded in Austin, Texas, and produced by Texas legends Ron Flynt and Walt Wilkins. John Apice of Americana Highways wrote: “There’s a seriousness to Marc’s compositions that’s not apparent in the slew of artists who seem to have a lot of nothing to say in an album’s worth of music…Marc is cut from the same cloth as James Taylor, early Elton John…”

Berardo’s first music show was in a biker bar in Allston, MA, in 1987.

Since that day, he has never stopped performing made-up songs. He has opened for or shared the stage with heavyweights such as The Doobie Brothers, The Pousette-Dart Band, Jimmy Lafave, Catie Curtis, Martin Sexton, 10,000 Maniacs, John Hiatt, The New Riders of the Purple Sage, The Buffalo Springfield, Kevin Welch, Lucy Kaplansky, Eric Andersen, Eric Taylor, David Olney, Red Molly, Kim Richey, Will Kimbrough, Walt Wilkins, and Livingston Taylor.
