Lord of the Rings

Adapted from the classic novel by J.R.R. Tolkien this epic film trilogy won 17 Academy Awards. Considered to be one of the biggest and most ambitious movie projects ever undertaken, it boasted an overall budget of $285 million. The entire project was filmed silmutaneously and took eight years, to complete.

O Street Museum Foundation is proud to display some of the most coveted pieces from the making of this important film series. The collection includes oringinal singed scripts from each of the films, an original signed movie poster and an authentic sword from the film.
