Ty Warner, founder of Ty, Inc. started a line of unique stuffed animals in the early 90's. Beanie Babies took a new spin on the classic stuffed animal. With small beads for stuffing the Beanie Babies had more movement which created a more realistic feeling to the toy. This feature set them apart from all the other plush toys on the market at the time.
