Join us for a very special First Sunday Gospel event, as O Museum founder, H.H. Leonards, introduces Maria Marable-Bunch, former Associate Director of Museum Learning and Programs at the Smithsonian Institution and recipient of the O Museum Mrs. Rosa Parks Humanitarian Award.

Ms. Marable-Bunch will discuss the lessons learned during her career grounded in the values instilled by her parents as a child growing up in Alabama and Pennsylvania. Her journey reflects the power of integrity, perseverance, and service — lessons that shaped her path as a leader in museums and education.

Through her visionary work in archives, museums, and education, she has created learning opportunities that brings light, championing civil rights, honoring Native American heritage, and advancing civic responsibility.
